The reprints start with Hulk #3, with all three Lee/Kirby stories from that early Hulk mag ('Banished to Outer Space,' a three-page 'Origin of the Hulk' recap, and 'The Ringmaster' (he of the circus of crime). Then, Hulk #6, by Lee and Ditko, featuring 'The Metal Master.' Then, from Hulk #272, 'Weirdsong of the Wen-Di-Go,' by Bill Mantlo and Sal Buscema. Next, written and drawn by John Byrne, Hulk #315, 'Freedom,' where Doc Samson separates Bruce Banner from the Hulk. This is followed by Hulk #324, by Al Milgrom and Dennis Janke, in 'The More Things Change...' where Banner and Hulk are reintegrated into the Gray Hulk. You then get Hulk #347, by Peter David and Jeff Purves, in 'Crap Shoot,' when Gray Hulk was 'Joe Fixit' in Las Vegas. Finally, from Hulk #377, 'Honey, I Shrunk the Hulk' by Peter David and Dale Keown, where Doc Samson tries to merge the personas of Banner, Hulk and Gray Hulk into a more healthy single personality.The theme of this book seems to be different nuances to Banner's transformations. In Hulk #3, for example, Hulk is telepathically linked to Rick Jones and must obey his commands. In Hulk #6, Hulk retains Banner's face and must wear a rubber Hulk mask to conceal his then-secret identity. In Hulk #272, Banner's mind retains control of Hulk's body. And so on.
